Almost every Sunday evening in college, a few funky fellows and I would meet up to play music at a friend's spare garage we called "the funk hole."
It was the perfect time to blast all of our high octane mayhem funk music that had been stewing for the week. We loved it, and I think the neighbors loved it except for this man from Russia who loved to come over in a bathrobe and tell us to turn it down. We dedicated a few songs to him.
